SNARF'S SANDIWCHES STRATEGIC DISCOVERY

SNARF'S SANDIWCHES STRATEGIC DISCOVERY

ABOUT PROJECT

During my capstone course for my Strategic Communications major, I was assigned a team and company to do a strategic discovery on the company and generate a creative exploration on what we believe the company could benefit from. Below is our final presentation that we memorized and presented to the CMO at Snarf's Sandwiches, Hellen Wood. Although we all worked together on different sections, my main role was being in charge of the design of the presentation, as well as coming up with the activations and personas.

TESTIMONIAL

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this reference for Ms. Avalon Aloia, a student I was fortunate to mentor and instruct over multiple classes at the University of Colorado, including her final class, The Capstone Senior Seminar.

Let’s cut straight to the chase. Ms. Aloia is a rare gem of a person and a person you should get to know right now. Full stop.

She is a person who can be relied upon for insightful observations and the ability to succeed and perform at consistently the highest levels. Both individually, and in group projects. All while still bringing a healthy sense of disruption to the bedeviling conventions of mediocrity.

Whether she was building out a complete marketing campaign for Snarf’s, a local sandwich shop intent on expanding to a new state, or developing a multi-staged Three Perfect Days in Boulder content piece for Outdoor Voices, Ms. Aloia has hit the mark each and every time.

Ms. Aloia is both analytical and creative in thought. Generous and effective in leadership. Relentlessly curious. She exudes humor and empathy in equal doses. In total, Ms. Aloia is a person who stands out, not just in her determination or academic success, but also in her winning personality. Ms. Aloia is the kind of person who can make an incisive point in such a unique, humorous and positive manner that she instantly and effortlessly wins converts to her position.

When you get that one person – among thousands – who makes you stop and take notice, maybe even make you wish you had conceived of that paradigm shifting solution to a problem the way Ms. Aloia consistently did in my classroom, then you have something special. Don’t let this one get away.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly if you want to hear me gush endlessly about Avalon.

Sincerely,

Morgan Young
